What data do we collect and why?

Statistics

When you visit our website, we store certain data about you in statistics (Google Analytics). This data includes the browser type, IP address, the operating system you use and the domain name of the website that directed you to our website. We use these statistics to analyse the browsing behaviour of our visitors and to use them to optimise our website for our users. The statistics are completely anonymous, so you have nothing to fear.

We also collect certain statistics when you read our newsletter. More specifically, this involves information about the browser type, unique identification and the number of times a link in our newsletter is clicked. We use this data to improve our newsletter or to correctly analyse possible problems.

Contact details

When you download an e-book or file, we store – if you give us permission – your e-mail address and name. We need this information to be able to send you the downloads. When you request a download, we also kindly ask you if we may send you our newsletter. Rest assured, we do not want to e-mail anyone unsolicited.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your first name and e-mail address. We need these details to be able to send you the newsletter. Your email address is stored securely with Mailchimp. Mailchimp secures your data and is part of a certified EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and so respects your privacy.

If you are a customer with us, we also store your contact and invoice data. These data are necessary for a smooth cooperation.
